Nope – there’s no mention of the Tennessee Williams star on the St. Louis Walk of Fame, in The Glass Menagerie, but you’ve just got to see how Williams is remembered by the city he famously hated. He not only has a star along the walk, but a plaque that tells a little bit about him. It’s located right in front of the Blueberry Hill Cafe which is an institution on the street. The owners of Blueberry Hill are credited with creating the walk of fame and also bringing back the Tivoli Theater. It’s a particularly favored spot – I think – lots of foot traffic. I stood there for a while and watched the passersby – and I noticed I seemed to be the only one interested in William’s place on the walk of fame that morning.
