In Helen of Pasadena:
“The Huntington was established on the former estate of Henry Huntington, railroad and book collector, and his lovely wife Arabella, philanthropist and garden designer.” Page 64
In Real Life:
Lian Dolan did not write about the Huntington Tea Room in Helen of Pasadena, but she did write about the Huntington Gardens and that’s where the Tea Room is located – so, I call that fair game. It’s right next to the beautiful Rose Garden. The Tea Room is not particularly fancy, it’s a little more relaxed, but it’s still popular and hard to get into – so you have to make reservations in advance.
